mixed experience, some issues
limited parking cramped room
parking was a real headache. i arrived at 6 pm, and finding a spot felt impossible. there were only six spaces for the entire pub, and the nearby public lot had height restrictions my vito couldn't clear. also, our room, number 2, felt cramped. the sink was oddly placed in the corner of the room, not in the bathroom, made late-night trips to the loo awkward.

great staff perfect location small room unavailable wi-fi
The location is perfect to explore the East Sussex countryside. The staff are GREAT!!! The atmosphere was great. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to feel an authentic English pub experience.
The room was small and cramped. The wash basin was in the room, not within the small en-suite. The Wi-Fi was unavailable in the room. The carpet in the room needs renewing.

friendly staff peaceful location clean room necessary equipment
The staff was lovely and friendly. I found the location peaceful. It is within walking distance to Batemans. I had a very clean room with everything I needed.
The on-site car parking was somewhat limited.

friendly staff great food convenient parking small room odd wash basin weak shower
The staff was friendly and willing to assist. The food tasted great, especially the breakfast. The location allowed for easy access to nearby attractions, and I found the parking convenient.
The twin room felt very small. The wash basin was located in the room, not in the bathroom which was odd. The shower lacked power.

helpful staff excellent breakfast tea kettle low water pressure small room inconvenient sink
The staff was really polite, helpful, and. Breakfast included a full English breakfast and it was excellent. My room had a kettle, which I really appreciated for making tea.
The shower was difficult to use. The water pressure was low and the temperature was difficult to control. My room was also very small. The sink was located in the bedroom rather than inside the bathroom, that was inconvenient.
