charming castle stay
beautiful grounds consistent friendliness really good meal
the castle grounds were beautifully maintained , a true pleasure to walk through. the staff impressed me with their consistent friendliness and attention to detail. i found the evening meal really good , i especially enjoyed the presentation of each course.
i noticed a very slight delay once when ordering a drink at the bar , but it was quickly resolved.

my cedar room included a comfortable king-size bed and a spacious bathroom. i appreciated the in-room coffee and tea making facilities and complimentary toiletries. the room also had ample wardrobe space.

fine gardens beautiful hotel helpful staff cold bathroom average food brick wall
the gardens had a fine appearance. the hotel also had a beautiful upkeep. the staff were very kind, and helped all guests.
the bathroom radiator wasnt warm. the food provided was average. the view from my room was a brick wall. I didnt like it.

Really good Stay at a Historic Venue
maintained gardens efficient service charming restaurant
The gardens are well kept. They offer a relaxing environment. Debbie was efficient. She provided excellent service throughout my stay. The bed in my room was comfortable. It also offered a lovely view. The restaurant was charming. It provided excellent service during both dinner and breakfast.
The room was located on the top floor so I had to climb four flights of stairs to get there.

unhelpful staff empty car park
The breakfast was great. The choices were very good.
The front desk staff were unhelpful. I requested a different room upon seeing ours, but they said all rooms were booked. No price reduction was offered, despite this being the worst room I have ever seen.

comfy bed excellent breakfast well-provisioned room unfriendly attitude no assistance top floor
The Yockleton Room included everything I needed. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast and the service were both excellent.
The receptionist did not offer assistance with my bags. I had to climb four flights of stairs as my room was on the top floor. The lack of a warm welcome spoiled the experience.
