attentive staff wooden beams arrival treat
The staff were attentive. the classic wooden beams added character to the room. i found crisps and biscuits upon arrival. This was a treat!!!

The room was good and beautifully decorated. the four poster bed and sofa added to the charm. the room looked out over the high street. It was very well sound-proofed. i slept very well.
I did notice that one of the hallway lights flickered a bit. It needs a new bulb.

rushed cleaning poor air quality
the breakfast was quite good.
The room wasn't ready when i arrived, even though i paid for early check-in. it seemed like the cleaning was rushed. There was dust everywhere, and the bathroom definitely needed better attention. i also noticed some mould near the window, and the air quality in the room wasn't great. it.

poor sealant missing instructions
The coffee maker in my room DIDN'T work properly. I am not sure if it was broken or just confusing. The instructions were missing. This was frustrating. The bathroom looked a little tired. The sealant around the bath was poorly applied. IT seemed a bit rushed.

the location is close to oulton park. off street parking is available. the staff provided advice on local beers and the food menu.
