My Beautiful King Room was clean. The furnishings had a beautiful style. The £50 wine voucher was a great surprise, very useful at dinner. Walks started directly from the hotel, ideal.

Black pudding portion sizes at breakfast need improvement. Half a slice wasn't much.

the breakfast had a superb continental selection and a hot cooked choice as well. i loved the granola with yoghurt and fresh fruit.. it was delicious. i twice had an evening meal and the food was superb. the mushroom soup with cheesy popcorn was crazy good.

the walk to broadway village ended up being around 6 miles for us. we went the wrong way a couple of times. the map from reception said it was 4 miles long. also there was a lot of hill climbing.

the room was tastefully decorated with excellent bathroom facilities and the towels felt top notch.

during our stay i encountered service lapses i find unacceptable at this price point breakfast felt substandard with cold offerings and undercooked bacon the eggs benedict i ordered featured doughy muffins and cold ham it was disappointing as a crucial part of the experience i expect better attention to detail from such hotel.

The Beautiful King Room had a large bathroom. It was well-equipped with a good-sized living area. The dog also received treats, a toy, and a bed.
