The breakfast offered a full English option. Toast and cereals were available also. The accommodation met my needs. The hosts proved pleasant and helpful. Their friendliness stood out.
I found it was not a hotel. It felt more like a rooming house. Sharing space with other travellers was apparent. There wasn't a bar or lounge, as advertised. The decor seemed worn.

missing baraged decor
The promised bar was absent. This was a disappointment, especially after a long day. Instead, there was a lounge area used more like a family room. The decor showed its age. I noticed wear and tear. This gave the place a less polished feel than I expected. Maintenance needs attention.

I found the lack of a dedicated bar and lounge disappointing. The advertised bar was actually a family lounge. This setup felt more like a boarding house than a hotel. The decor also was worn.

I stayed four nights, and the common space was so convenient for us. gathering there was awesome! breakfast included delicious stewed rhubarb, worth the stay alone. eric were very good after my visit, returning my lost phone. How cool is that? plenty of off-street parking were available, totally a plus.

eric gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived late, so sweet. he even helped with directions to the town center, pointing out bus services. the extra kitchen has useful facilities, including a microwave and a fridge.

the rooms were modern and the bathrooms, sleek. the room had attention to detail addressed, so cool. it was also comfortable and really clean, better than expected.

breakfast was lovely, totally yummy. the owners were happy to cater to whatever we wanted, super cool. fresh fruit and greek yogurt were available, that's great.

there's loads of parking at the rear, super handy. the guesthouse is near town, but has free parking, so convenient. we could lock our bikes in the garage, awesome security.
