i found the location quite convenient.. it was near the alameda de hercules, a lively area. i appreciated the proximity to various tapas bars and restaurants. the hotel's traditional character appealed to me, especially the courtyard with its central fountain. the staff readily suggested local dining options, a helpful service.
it wasn't a major issue, but it required a little extra attention.

My room faced the inner courtyard, so there was limited natural light! also, the breakfast staff seemed quite unhappy. the food quality did not justify the price i paid. i found the lack of friendliness disappointing and the breakfast selection underwhelming. The overall experience felt subpar.

the location worked well for exploring. i found the staff to be helpful when i needed something. breakfast was in a cafe nearby and was good. the hotel was very quiet at night.
my room was on the ground floor and quite small. it had a window facing a closed courtyard so there was no daylight. the bathroom had a bad smell in the mornings. the photos online did not match what we got.
