Acceptable Stay with Noticeable Drawbacks

The hotel provided free washing and drying machines, a useful amenity for travelers.
My room was not cleaned daily. This only occurred every three days. Some staff members had limited English skills, which sometimes created communication problems. I also found it inconvenient to be unable to check into my room early, even by a couple of hours.

the hotel is close to kujo underground station. it connects with the main station. the staff were very friendly and warm. i found the public baths excellent. everything was clean.
i noticed the hotel bar closes a bit early at 10:00 pm.

The location is really good. It's right next to the train station. i found the daily welcome drink a great bonus! also, i loved the freshly made coffee and the massage chairs. there was even a smoking area.
The staff seemed unhelpful and impolite. It wasn't the typical japanese hospitality i expected! the wifi was really bad. i also smelled cigarette smoke on the ground floor a couple of times. It was pretty unpleasant.

The wi-fi was terrible. i could not connect in my room, this was a huge disappointment. i also found a foreign hair in the bathroom. That wasn't pleasant.
