The historical room felt very special. I enjoyed the nice bed it had. The bathroom included a proper bath, something I always look for.
The heating wasn't working upon my arrival, thus rooms felt very cold, including common areas.

The appearance of the hotel fits its age perfectly. It is quirky. i noticed details everywhere. the bed was comfortable. all clean. the breakfast offered a great variety and lots of fresh fruit (the croissants were really good).
the limited meal provision, due to the chef being absent, was slightly inconvenient.

the breakfast included good options. the location was really central. i was grateful for the room we got at the back as it was very quiet. it.
the electric heater looked old and rusty. i noticed it did not have a current pat testing label. it made me question its safety.
