fresh fruit king suite comfy bed
The room, a King Suite, was very clean. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was excellent. I found a great variety and lots of fresh fruit. I loved that they have a quirky appearance that fitting to the age of building.
My room was very cold when I arrived, but it warmed up after some hours.

central location friendly staff spacious room
I loved the hotel's location. It was central to everything. the staff was friendly and helpful. the room was spacious and had all the necessary facilities.
the radiator in our room did not work, so we had to speak to reception, and an electric radiator was provided. the room was in the more modern extension and was directly above a function room where a very loud party was taking place. the music and singing stopped by 11.00 pm, but it was loud through the evening and not at all relaxing. if no rooms further away from the noise were available, we should have been warned that these rooms are noisy when events are taking place.

Breakfast included a good food selection. Evening meals were also tasty. The beer selection features great quality.
I found the room a little noisy due to traffic on the front street since the windows were single glazed.

historical room comfortable bed friendly staff
The historical room felt very special. I enjoyed the nice bed it had. The bathroom included a proper bath, something I always look for.
The heating wasn't working upon my arrival, thus rooms felt very cold, including common areas.

The hotel offers a very central position. It provides very easy access to the Minster. It allows for convenient exploration and there are visits to local attractions. This places you right in the heart of everything.

Breakfast stands out with it's great quality, it offers a satisfying start to the day. I found the staff accomodating. They make sure needs get met. Their helpfulness greatly enhanced the experience.

The appearance of the hotel fits its age perfectly. It is quirky. i noticed details everywhere. the bed was comfortable. all clean. the breakfast offered a great variety and lots of fresh fruit (the croissants were really good).
the limited meal provision, due to the chef being absent, was slightly inconvenient.

my room included a big shower and a comfortable bed. the furnishings in the hotel were of a high standard. there were wonderful antique chiming clocks. i appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the attention to detail.

Breakfast included a wide variety of delicious fruit with yogurt. the full english breakfast offered anything you could wish for (cooked options are also available). the breakfast service was superb and perfect. They timed everything perfectly.

lovely stay in a convenient location
quiet room relaxing stay
the breakfast included good options. the location was really central. i was grateful for the room we got at the back as it was very quiet. it.
the electric heater looked old and rusty. i noticed it did not have a current pat testing label. it made me question its safety.
