The hotel decor was beautiful and clean. I found the staff friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the high standard the place has been renovated to. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price, a great value for money.
The pillows were a little too soft for my preference. Everything else was perfect, though.

The food was AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend the braised beef. There was a range of food available at very good value and it was all delicious. Breakfast included multiple choices from an extensive menu.

The staff were very kind and cute upon arrival. Staff at dining times were excellent, attentive, and helpful. They dealt with check-in quickly. The staff was also easy going and helpful!!!

The shower was super powerful and provided a good experience. I found a kettle and coffee machine. The room included a hair dryer and plenty of mirrors. The premises were lovely and there was a fantastic decked seating area out back.

I found modern mirrors with touch facilities a nice feature in both the bathroom and the bedroom. The large walk-in shower was very good. I think the general decoration gave a good atmosphere to the hotel. The staff at breakfast were very friendly.
The food was limited, but I did find it delicious. Sometimes service can be slow. One time something was missed off our order, and it left one of our members watching us eat.

The room included modern decor and comfortable furnishings, I found it was pleasant. The walk-in shower was a highlight, it offered great water pressure. There were also fluffy towels and high-quality toiletries available.

The breakfast was really fantastic with a good choice of options. I enjoyed sampling the local produce and the fresh coffee they serve in the morning. The restaurant setting had a nice atmosphere with friendly staff.

The hotel location was great for exploring nearby attractions. I found the Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park were both very accessible. The hotel provided a peaceful retreat with easy access to main roads.

i stayed in august 2024 after a day at clumber park. the reception staff managed hotel bookings from behind the bar. they were friendly and informative. breakfast offered a great choice and was served directly at the table by friendly staff.
i would have preferred the option to help myself to toast.
