harbour access anytime breakfast kitchen facilities
the location offered easy access to shops and dunnottar castle. stepping out, the harbour was immediately accessible. i especially liked having anytime breakfast and use of the kitchen facilities.
the parking area is directly beside a drop off into the harbour it required some care to manage.

the location was superb right on the harbour i had a fabulous view from my window. breakfast was lovely and i loved the fresh ingredients i found there. the host was very helpful guiding me about local spots

The room included an assorted tray of local delicacies. I also found a self-service breakfast setup, I could access the kitchen and select items anytime. The shower was excellent. I noted its efficient and modern design.
A minor issue, I found that one of the windows was a bit stiff to open.

wonderful harbour stay
ideal location self-service breakfast excellent soundproofing provided toiletries
the location was ideal near various restaurants. the self-service breakfast included many options. i liked the soundproofing as it minimized outside noise. i found the provided toiletries excellent.

the location is right by the harbour. several restaurants are very close. dunnottar castle is within walking distance, maybe an hour. wild swimming is also very close to the premises.

Acceptable stay in Scotland
castle trail comfy breakfast room cobwebs unclean trash
I liked that the trail to Dunnottar Castle is right behind the building. This made a great outing easy. Breakfast felt comfy, just like family, and I loved the greeting by the host.
Cobwebs hung from the walls of the room, and that was not great. The trash not being cleaned was also a downer. I did not like that.
