the location was quite central, convenient.
The room lacked proper soundproofing and i experienced significant noise. also, housekeeping was not thorough. The bed was not. furthermore, the curtains were poorly hung and touched the floor.

we found some problems the road noise was loud there was no double glazing to reduce the noise plus the mattress was like sleeping on a sponge it was not comfortable at all i barely slept

the location was quite central it was easy to access local shops and cafes. the staff seemed friendly i found them to be fabulous. i enjoyed the garden it was wonderful.
my room was at the front it faced the road. it got very noisy i didn't sleep well because of the traffic. the pillows felt cheap and lumpy i did not find them comfortable.

the room was clean. i suppose that's something.
Honestly, i thought the noise was ridiculous. the lack of double glazing meant i heard every single car. the mattress seemed like a sponge so it was like sleeping on a trampoline. My back is not happy.

i liked that the hotel is located so central. my room had a fridge and a microwave i thought was very useful. the staff was great and so nice. i surely would stay here again.

the building had a beautiful and cosy feel, i enjoyed it. a cellar bar had a great vibe on a live music night i visited. the location is great for town centre amenities too.

the room was a good size with a great standard of décor. furniture was nice, and i could sleep quietly. the bathroom was pure luxury and very relaxing, which i appreciated.

I can recommend the local wetherspoons called 'the green dragon'. it is a place with decent food and a friendly atmosphere. der engel offered authentic german and belgium beers. Their food is exquisite.
