Volcanic Views That Slayed!
restaurant steak alpine build volcanoes view great gym
I was stoked by the restaurant steak, it tasted so good! The gym have everything I need for a quick workout. I really loved the alpine build. Its a nice nod to classic resorts. The views from the living room look directly at the volcanoes, how amazing!
The taps, they were not closing properly! It needed hard effort to close them.

The room it has a comfy bed that help me sleep great after a long hike. My room includes decent fridge for storing drinks and snacks. Glasses and plates were provided.

The staff very kind! The reception helped us to booked a table in the restaurant so fast. The staff phoned the local shuttle company to arrange us an extra early pick up, it was great. They were really helpful with directions.

This place is perfect for walks! It has shuttle pick ups and drop offs from the door. The hotel is a short drive from many walking tracks. The place is nearby the national park also.

The communal kitchen is big! It have washing machines and dryers that were handy after a wet trek. The gym is nice. The hotel features a bar where guests can relax and it offers very nice views of the surrounding landscape.

the walls in our room was very thin and i didn't sleep good. the guests walking was loud. staff should say to guests to be quiet.

helpful staff amazing restaurant
the restaurant was amazing! the food tasted great. the front desk and restaurant staff were most helpful. i appreciate they booked shuttles for the tongariro crossing for me.
the room walls were a bit thin. i could hear some conversations.

convenient location direct access relaxing atmosphere dated room unusual setup thin wall
the location is indeed super convenient. i appreciated direct access to trails. the lounge bar provided a relaxing atmosphere after a day outdoors.
the room was very dated. the sink was actually located in the bedroom, a rather unusual setup. i found the walls between rooms to be quite thin.

cozy stay near trails
lamb shank attentive service hot tub lovely view
the restaurant impressed me it had an excellent lamb shank dish and attentive service. the hot tub and sauna were very welcome after my long hike. the staff were very friendly and they readily assisted with my needs for the tongariro north circuit hike. the location of the hotel offered lovely views of the mountains
i noticed some slight wear and tear in the building but it did not impact my overall experience
