i enjoyed the many windows overlooking the sound, rain or shine. my single room was simple. waking up every morning was magical because of its window overlooking the entrance, the lawn, and the sea. all meals were superb!!!

i found the staff very helpful with baggage transfer. They collected our bags from the ferry. They delivered them directly to my room. THE beds were comfortable and the rooms had everything needed.

my room felt dated. I think the bedding requires upgrading, especially pillows. the window in my room was small. The overall feel of the hotel leans toward a subjective taste.

the staff transported bags from the ferry. it was a short walk from the ferry to the abbey. the lounge area had floor to ceiling windows. staff brought coffee to me as i read.

The room felt dated. this is subjective.
