loCH view suite

loch viewdelicious foodhelpful staff
Julie was very helpful. She accommodated us in a beautiful suite overlooking the loch. The wildlife hide was close. I saw otters, seals, and oystercatchers from there. I ate at the Bothy both nights. The haggis olive and the venison goulash were delicious. Michelle and Ali looked after me well.
The bedroom decor felt a little dated, and the heating was intermittent.
Facilities
8/10
The restaurant serves fresh, tasty food with decent portions. The views from there are fine, I noticed. A pub is available for drinks. There is no washing machine on-site, though.
Service
9/10
The staff is friendly, and the manager is great. They offered suggestions for local visits. I enjoyed the wildlife hide. The staff ensured restaurant reservations, because there are few nearby dining options.
Location
10/10
The hotel boasts a FANTASTIC location near the loch. It is a short walk to the village. The site is surrounded by underbar nature. The location allowed convenient access to local shops and a cafe.

Dated room with cleanliness issues

The staff was friendly and helpful.
Our room was not clean. The bathroom was especially unclean, and the windows were really dirty. The first four dinner options we chose were sold out, so we ate something we did not really want.
