the host cooked it while engaging with the guests. there was a good choice of options available for breakfast. the host was very cute and friendly.
i experienced broken sleep from creaky floorboards above. the room was a little depressing as it was in the basement. noise from other guests impacted the stay. the shower needed upgrading.

The host showed us to a large twin room, it contained a double and single bed. the en-suite shower room was very spacious. I liked this. the hotel was very clean and warm, which i always appreciate.
i did not appreciate being told to keep the noise down when being shown to our room. it felt a bit unwelcoming.

it has a great location. there is a 3 minute walk to a cute village centre with two lovely pubs. a very modern co-op is also nearby, convenient for any needs.

our room, a superior king room, felt spacious. breakfast was wonderful with fresh ingredients. andrew, our host, provided attentive and gracious service. adequate parking was available onsite too.
i noticed the floorboards above the room creaked quite a bit, and broken sleep, that was a shame.

the host andrew was very cute and showed me around the hotel. the room had tea and coffee making facilities, which i found quite convenient. breakfast was freshly cooked to order, and i could request an earlier time to suit my schedule. a communal attic room provided sunset views over the surrounding landscape.
i noticed a slight stain on the carpet in the hallway.
