Katie gave us a lovely warm welcome. the bedroom was beautiful. It had a gorgeous view. breakfasts could be huge. It depended on your choice.

a good getaway!

I enjoyed the location, the views from our room towards the sea were wonderful! public spaces had a nice touch. Gardens and path leading down toward the shore were well maintained. my room was comfy. It also included everything i needed for my stay!
upon my arrival to the hotel, i found that the staircase to my room was a bit steep. it was something that i wasn't aware of before my arrival.

My room was spacious, included a comfortable bed, and had a nice balcony. the bathroom was also large and featured modern fixtures, everything looked clean and well maintained. I was very impressed!

The room was larger than expected and spotlessly clean. Breakfast offered a great choice of dishes. The view from the bedroom window included deer and a golden eagle (such a treat!). On-site parking added to the convenience.

the views from the window to the shore met my expectations.
the dining room was quite noisy because there is no carpet and soft furnishings are absent , it heightened the noise of other guests. the steep and narrow staircase leading to the second-floor bedroom also posed a problem. i found used sheets strewn all over the place when i returned to the bedroom one afternoon, and it was difficult to navigate around them.

awesome lochside getaway!
putting shedancient woodlandsmissing maps
the grounds extend right down to the loch, we explored a charming putting shed near the shore, it was a good surprise! a circular walk behind the hotel led us through ancient woodlands, i saw amazing birds near the pier. the shower was great too.
i noticed the absence of maps with walking suggestions, it would add value. a bit more tourist information would be helpful, i feel.

the hotel is situated on the loch side, i had excellent outward views. the setting is beautiful overall, that's why i loved it. i found the locality walkable and cycleable, it had great value.
