I found the staff attentive and friendly. The room was cosy.
One bedside table lamp lacked a bulb. The shower area looked a bit grubby. There was not enough milk for hot drinks.

Really good Dining and Elegant Stay

The room, a superior double room, was spacious and included modern amenities. I especially liked the four-poster bed. the food in the restaurant was very nice, with amazing attention to detail. it was great i could bring my dog. He even received a sausage and dog-friendly gravy for breakfast. i certainly recommend this hotel.
One very minor point, the hotel is located right on a busy main road. I could hear some noise.

a true sanctuary
quiet roomperfect eggsmissing bulb
the staff was kind. the room provided a haven of peace and quiet, really a lovely retreat. the breakfast options included perfect scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, so delicate and delicious.
one small lamp in the room lacked a bulb, this made reading in bed difficult.

the restaurant food features local ingredients or those grown onsite. the dinner presented a taste explosion, showing a very talented chef and kitchen team. the breakfast was equally magnificent, with lots of super options available.

i found the room quite large, a great space. it was scrupulously clean, and a very good job was done of tidying it each day. the bed offered perfect pillows and comfort for sleeping.

the hosts were just very nice. they always tried to. jake was very knowledgeable concerning the food and wines, guiding us with perfect pairings for our meal.
