excellent food and service!

hot meals quick service
we ate here with 23 people! the food was excellent and so was the service. serving a group of this size is not easy (but they handled it so well!). we received hot meals with a nice selection of sides. the service was quick overall.
i heard a loud fan running all night just outside the bedroom window. sleep was nearly impossible because of this. i think compensation should be offered with an apology!
Dining
9/10
the hotel offers an alcohol-free beer range, a nice option for those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages. the portion sizes are quite generous. the food options include fish and linguine.

a bit underwhelming

loud fridge early wake-up
the location was quite lovely and peaceful.
The fridge was annoyingly loud. It sounded like a microwave running all night. also, i had an unpleasant surprise at 8 am when window cleaners started banging on the window. it was hardly the relaxing morning i had hoped for..

a decent experience

ideal room excellent kitchenette super clean room bathroom fan noisy window rotten frame
the room had excellent facilities and a nice kitchenette. the cleaner always had the room super clean, i noticed. the pub food was good, but the restaurant was popular so i booked a table in advance.
The fan in the bathroom did not work unfortunately. the sash window in the main room was very noisy. The wooden frame is rotten. the window rattled when it was windy. this had to be wedged with paper to stop the rattling, i must say.
