The bed was definitely not up to par. Some of the mattress support slats seemed to have given up. I weigh barely anything. The room felt really cluttered because it had unneccessary furniture. There were no staff around to ask for basic things like milk during breakfast. It was quite annoying.

a sweet memory

the location offered a short walk to town. kathryn, the host, welcomed me warmly. the rooms has very nice decor and breakfast tasted excellent.
i noted some difficulty getting all cars in the parking area. i feel some guidance would be helpful, specially when everyone arrive at the same time. i managed, but it was a bit stressful.

staff provided helpful suggestions for dining. i find it good. kathryn was excellent and friendly. kathryn assisted with directions and recommendations, and provided information. i appreciate the help.

rooms had thoughtful touches, like a mini bottle of prosecco and chocolates. rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfy. beds are comfortable and i slept well. the room had everything i needed and i enjoyed the lovely touches.

the location was great. the house was lovely (i liked its style), as were the rooms. i met kat the owner, she was very cute. i parked the car on the drive.
there was no one to meet us. we and two other guests arriving did not know what rooms we had been given. the room and bathroom were small. the hot water system is hopeless.

lovely touchgreat selectionearly parking
the room decor was superb and i found prosecco and chocolates upon arrival.. it was a lovely surprise. the continental breakfast offered a great selection. kathryn allowed us to park early and even said we could leave our car after checkout.
i found no hot food except an egg on offer, and fruit in a bowl looked a week old.
