charming stay
friendly staff garden maintenance quality offering
this hotel really charmed me. the staff greeted me always by name. the gardens was impeccably maintained, a feast for the eyes (i am a maximalist design lover). the breakfast selection had a large variety, with high-quality continental offerings.
i found that the gym's equipment was inadequate for a 5-star hotel. the equipment felt rather old.

The conservatory restaurant offers garden views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. breakfast included a large selection of continental items, such as fresh pastries and fruit. hot breakfast menu choices were also available. I especially recommend the eggs benedict.

my suite featured a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom with two separate sinks. the turndown service included thoughtful touches, such as hot water bottles during the cooler evenings. the suite provided a lovely view of the surrounding gardens.

the staff displayed a high level of professionalism and attentiveness. every employee i encountered, from housekeeping to restaurant staff, was always courteous and helpful. the general manager was visible and addressed any questions.

The hotel boasts two beautiful pools, providing ample space for relaxation. the grounds are extensive and well-kept, with lush gardens with a variety of plant species. there is a spa. I didn't visit it but others mentioned it.

interesting plants extensive grounds responsive service
The gardens feature numerous interesting plants and trees. I enjoyed grounds, very extensive and secluded. The service felt unobtrusive yet responsive.

breakfast highlight unreal gardens
i found the service to be unmatched. the breakfast was a highlight with many options. the hotel itself is beautiful, and the gardens are unreal!!! i will definitely return. breakfast was a dream with pastries and eggs.
my room had moths. the hotel maid was inconsistent at removing trash. i noticed mold on the bathroom caulking. these are small details.

kirstenbosch and constantia wineries are within easy reach. the surrounding area offers a relaxing environment. i found the location excellent for exploring local attractions. it is well-situated.

i thought the food quality was good. the restaurant provides convenient access. the service during dinner and breakfast was very nice. the staff were friendly and helpful. i would go back anytime.
