untrained staffdifficult door lock
i found a couple issues the staff seemed understaffed and not particularly well-trained at reception for example i had to ask about evening meal times there was a general air of disorganization. also i found no handrail in the bathroom making it difficult to get into the shower furthermore the door was difficult to take the key from the lock.

numerous cobwebsladybird infestation
I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness. There were numerous cobwebs at a high level. i also found a ladybird infestation in my room. More kept appearing even after disposing of many. i reported this to the supervisor, and she moved me, but it really impacted my sleep.

The room was a good size. It had an air conditioning unit. This was appreciated . The staff were pleasant both in the pub and in housekeeping. They provided a good amenity tray.
The TV remote did not work properly. The kettle had white residue around the top of the lid. There was no glass available in the bathroom to get a drink of water.

the room was super clean, and the bed felt very comfy. the power in the shower was good too. i had a lovely meal in the pub, one tuesday night and the food was excellent. they gave me PLENTY of food and it was fairly priced.
the pub was closed when i arrived at 9.30 pm. i was told it would be open late but it wasn't. the staff had obviously forgotten i was staying there, they were in their cars ready to go home. the hotel AND restaurant were closed on my arrival day.

I enjoyed the very good food offered at respectable prices. My room was super clean and included amazing air conditioning. Staff went out of their way to help. The room and bathroom were nice size.
The pub was closed when I arrived at 9.30 pm. I was told it would be open late. I had to bang on doors and windows to get in.
