Pauline and bill were wonderful hosts. breakfast was a real treat with lots of delicious options. the location was perfect, a short walk from the train station. There's also a great pub just across the road. i really enjoyed my stay.

The owners were friendly and accommodating to my needs.

The television placement was awkward. It was mounted to the right of the bed. The lack of nearby electrical outlets near the bed was also an issue. I had to reach under the side table to plug in my devices. The Wi-Fi signal was weak in my room.

I stayed for several nights and the hosts, bill and pauline, were cute. the breakfast each morning included perfectly cooked eggs. The full english was delicious. the location is ideal, very near the train station.

the tv remote was inside a plastic bag, and its operation was not always straightforward.

pauline and bill are excellent hosts, attentive and friendly. the superb breakfast sets you up well for the day (i really enjoyed the scrambled eggs!). the location is perfect for exploring the lake district, it's so convenient. i wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

i received a warm welcome upon arrival the hosts were really friendly. the family room was perfect for us and clean. breakfast featured fresh local products i found extra tasty sausages. nothing was too much trouble and i appreciated little touches .

the tv remote was inside a plastic bag making it slightly difficult to operate. the signal sometimes went in and out i think that can be easily fixed.

Pauline and Bill are amazing hosts. I even learned the secret to their perfectly cooked eggs. The room had comfy beds, fluffy towels, and a hot, powerful shower. The train station is close, though slightly uphill. I found affordable train and bus transportation readily available (so no need for a car!).

The tv remote was inside a little plastic bag, a little hard to operate.
