village atmosphere
I found the locals of the pub to be very friendly (it was quite charming!). The room met all my needs.
Carrying luggage to the room felt a little tricky due to multiple doors.

fantastic stay near cadwell park!
great atmospherefriendly localscomfy roomnoisy road
the hotel is located super close to cadwell park! we got there late, the kitchen was closed, and the pub was hopping because of a quiz night. a staff member suggested we order chinese from next door! she even set up a table for us. i cannot state enough how helpful she was. i will definitely return. our room was clean and comfy!
the lights leading to our room kept tripping! when fixed, the bathroom fan and lights came on during the night. the road outside was noisy. even with earplugs and the small window closed i struggled to sleep.

I noticed the hotel has a bar which seemed quite popular with locals. It looked very lively during the evening. i also observed that a chinese takeaway restaurant sits right next door. It's very convenient to grab a quick bite.

The reception was very friendly and efficient! the check-in process was smooth, and staff were very cute! i observed staff were willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests had a great experience. This created a great atmosphere.

the noise level was definitely not acceptable. the bar was open late and very loud music was audible in my room. i also spotted a worrying amount of dust under the bed and in the corners of the room, it seemed uncleaned for weeks.

the room had NO food service, although advertised AS a restaurant. in the mornings, THERE was no one available. i had to let myself out of the fire EXIT.

a lovely village stay
warm welcomecommunity feelgenuine friendliness
the welcome was warm, george. the locals embraced us, and the pub had a genuine community feel. i really appreciated the friendliness of everyone.
The music was a bit loud. It went on until 11 pm, so it made it a bit difficult to relax fully in the room that night
