the room was a nice temperature thanks to air conditioning. i asked for sheets instead of the duvet and this was promptly provided. the staff quickly brought extra towels and supplies as the room was initially set up for a single person. it was quiet even though it's near biggin hill aerodrome.

unfriendly staffmissing hair dryer
The bar staff was not overly friendly. they insisted on asking if we were residents before even giving us menus. It was annoying! also, my room missed a hair dryer, inconvenient. i think a hair dryer should be a standard amenity. these little things really affect the experience.

The hotel is right next to JetEx. It made parking our jet very easy. A bus stop sits less than 200 yards from the hotel. The rooms were immaculate and very well insulated, so I did not hear the airport runway traffic at all.
The bar staff in the evening was not overly friendly. They insisted on asking if we were residents before even giving us menus. This felt unwelcoming.
