fantastic stay!
great location excellent eggs florentine clean room comfortable bed
the location was very nice, just a short walk to the main attractions. the breakfast included eggs florentine cooked by joe, it was seriously excellent! the room was clean and cosy, and the bed gave me a super good night's sleep, it was so comfortable.
the wifi was a bit spotty, it didn't really work at all .

the hotel offers convenient parking which is a real bonus especially given its central location. the building has a quaint charm with a cozy bar plus lovely back garden, great spots to unwind.

Breakfast was amazing. I had some excellent eggs florentine! the restaurant food was also very tasty! the venue provides a very good selection of beers, drinks and cocktails in the bar, i had a marvelous evening.

some issues dampened the experience
poor water pressure limited breakfast menu
the staff were friendly and helpful.
The room felt cramped. The shower needed some serious attention. the water pressure was practically nonexistent, and it took ages to get any hot water at all. also, breakfast was a letdown as the menu was limited to a single choice.

The bedroom felt cramped, even though it wasn't TINY. The lack of a fridge was an inconvenience. Breakfast was disappointing. The menu allowed only one choice. No toast or croissants were available.

a wonderful stay in a classic setting
charming rooms english food many choices friendly staff
I found the rooms located above the pub and restaurant very charming. i really enjoyed the traditional english food and drink options offered. the breakfast included many choices. It was good. the staff were attentive, especially jenny, who served us breakfast each morning. She remembered our coffee and tea preferences.
The shower was a bit tricky. It took me a few tries to get the temperature right.

the inn is close to pubs such as the parrot and the dolphin. stores and main attractions are also nearby. plus, i found it a short walk from both canterbury west and east train stations. dover and rye are easily accessible for side trips.

The millers room was quite spacious. the staff were helpful and friendly. They made sure i had everything i needed. i really appreciated the cozy bar area. it was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

Joe prepared an excellent eggs florentine for breakfast. It was the best i've had in a long while. the morning breakfast had great choices. i enjoyed each morning with jenny. she served us breakfast with kindness.
