Acceptable, But Noisy

poor soundproofingnoisy deliveries
The noise levels were a problem. With no soundproofing I heard every word from the bar below until late. Deliveries began early with drivers shouting outside my window, they just don't seem to care about sleeping guests. The room felt a bit shabby overall, and breakfast availability was oddly restricted.

poor soundproofingstandard food
The noise levels were unacceptable!!! My room was right above the bar and every single sound carried through. Conversations, clinking glasses, and doors slamming kept me awake. Delivery drivers shouted early in the morning. They have no consideration . I expected more soundproofing. It is a basic requirement. The food also disappointed. It was just standard fare, not at all worth the price!!!

A Decent Stay

friendly staffgood selectionbar noiseworn bathroom
The staff was friendly and accommodating! Breakfast offered a good selection of items. I found the country pub atmosphere quite charming. The location made it easy to explore the area.
The bedroom faced some noise from the bar below. It went on until late! The room and bathroom was a bit worn and lacked comfort, I noticed.
