My king room had modern decor. i found the bathroom spacious, with nice products available for use. the staff were helpful and very friendly. i enjoyed the cocktails in jack's bar. The menu offered a great choice.
I noticed the lighting was quite dim throughout the hotel, including the hallways and my room. it made it a little difficult to see clearly at times. It was very strange.

The hotel location proved convenient (easy access to nearby amenities).
The light over the kettle was not working. The dark walls made it hard to see. I also would have expected a Nespresso machine instead of old school sachets. The lack of a mini bar made the £50 deposit seem excessive, honestly.

the hotel had low light in the room, it made things a bit difficult. this was the only minor downside.
