seaside gem, clean and comfy!
amazing locationcomfortable bedhelpful advicedated decor
the location was amazing, right on the seafront. the room was very clean, and the bed was really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. andrew, the owner, offered helpful advice and guidance about the town. i will definitely consider a return visit, and recommend the hotel to all.
the decor could use an update. it felt a little dated. that aspect wasn't a huge issue for me but i hope the hotel considers upgrading the decor in the near future.

The hotel sits right on the sea front, offering immediate access to the beach and local attractions. It is very convenient for exploring the area. this location is easily accessible and very central for visiting local stores and restaurants.

breakfast featured quality ingredients, with a satisfying start to the day, which i pre-ordered. i found a selection of traditional english breakfast items. everything was fresh and well-prepared.

The room was super clean. The bed was large and comfortable. i had a very relaxing stay. My sleep quality was noticeably better than at home, because it was very quiet. the room was well-presented and spacious.

parking passgood breakfast
the breakfast tasted good. staff replenished tea and coffee daily, so i seemed like i had enough. i got a parking pass on the street just outside. this was so good because parking in that area gets challenging.
The shower head looked old. I think they might need a new head on it.

uneven experience, some hits, some misses
high priceold shower
The price felt too high for just one night. i paid extra for a late checkout at noon but really checkout should be later anyway. also, the shower head was ancient, and the hairdryer didnt even work properly. I think a refresh of these things is seriously needed.

the shower head seemed old. the hair dryer did not work. i think a new shower head would be good. staff could also be more helpful.

The location was great. The sea front and local attractions were within walking distance.
The shower head was quite old and really needed replacing. The hairdryer in the room did not work. I expected better for the price. Paying extra for a slightly later checkout felt unreasonable. So I will probably not book here again.
