adequate stay with minor issues

great location on-site parking charming decor small table pedestrian breakfast bad lighting

the location worked well for me. it was near the river but a very short walk into the middle of town. parking was available on-site. the decor respected the 1800's home with modern amenities. i found it charming. breakfast had a handful options. the option i chose was plenty.

the bedside tables were small, barely big enough for a small book.

the room size felt inadequate given the price i paid. the provided breakfast lacked variety i expected more for the cost. the absence of readily available snacks or drinks was also a noticeable drawback it would have been a simple touch that could significantly improve the experience. i had to ask for it multiple times

The breakfast was served in a good dining area off a terrace. The cooked-to-order breakfast was Good!!! On-site parking is tight, yet accommodating. Restaurants and shopping are a few walkable blocks away.

The building is old. It has a somewhat odd layout.

outdated drapes unclean windows

The room was quite small. It needed updating. The drapes seemed old, and the bedding also felt worn. The wrap-around porch was lovely, but it needed some cleaning. I noticed the windows throughout the hotel also needed cleaning REALLY badly.

the location allowed easy walks around town i enjoyed access to nearby shops the breakfast included several options each morning the staff ensured fresh coffee was available. the shared balcony space was a lovely feature i liked the nice view of the river.

i noticed the housekeeping service seemed inconsistent we needed to request fresh towels one day. the room size felt smaller than expected it lacked a designated seating area. noise from other guests was noticeable the sounds traveled through the walls
