I found the room impeccably clean (everything sparkled!) and tastefully decorated. the bed offered wonderful comfort. breakfast was great. Only high-quality ingredients were used.
the roads leading there were somewhat challenging.

The request to remove shoes immediately upon entry felt unwelcoming. I also felt uneasy being instructed that luggage could not be rolled on the carpet. access roads to the hotel were quite poor! this made arrival more stressful than it needed to be. the road conditions require attention.

den prepared tasty cake for us upon arrival. he also allowed our friends to join us in the garden for afternoon tea. the breakfast was excellent, cooked and served with a friendly attitude. the room was super clean and very comfortable.
the road to get there was a little difficult.

The room, superior king room, had amazing space and provided all necessary amenities. breakfast was a treat. They individually prepare it to order. i also enjoyed using the comfortable conservatory. It has a fabulous view of the surrounding countryside.
i noticed a very slight musty smell, though it was barely perceptible.

i had to ask for an extra slice of toast it felt a bit awkward i didn't like specifying breakfast beforehand either you have to wait for tea and ask for everything the general approach seems to supply the minimum unless asked

The bedroom was very comfortable. i slept in a superking bed. the breakfast was excellent. The owner cooked it. i found the full english breakfast gluten free, perfectly cooked.

i found the location to be very convenient with a lovely host pub just down the road for food. a short walk takes you into the village. it's a 10 min car journey to the river exe cafe!!!
