The Lavender Suite had everything I needed. Breakfast was also really good. The restaurant offered food to a fine dining standard.
My room seemed dated. The decor looked tired, and the bathroom was quite old. A dog-friendly room cost an extra twenty pounds, too expensive.

The Heather Suite was very clean. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The doggy basket of goodies was a hit with our Stanley especially the socks. Dinner and breakfast were both very delicious.
The sofas and decor looked tired, requiring some updating. The bathroom was quite old. A charge of £20 extra for the dog-friendly room felt a bit too expensive. The room had a noticeable dog odor.

I loved the fine decor! The breakfast was made exactly as requested, including delicious homemade bread and jams. The bathroom was modern and spacious, complete with great toiletries!
The welcome wasn't particularly warm upon arrival.

The hosts are attentive and engaging. They happily answer questions about the dishes. They demonstrated excellent local knowledge. I will return next year!

whirlpool bathannoying dripoverflow drip
the breakfast had good options and they catered to my food allergy without problems. i was happy with the whirlpool bath, it came as a pleasant surprise.
nothing massively negative, but i stayed in the bluebell room. the drip from the overflow outside was a bit annoying, it really bothered me.
