taster menu nicest food fabulous service
we booked online and were informed about the valentine's taster menu. it included the nicest food i've ever tasted!!! the service was also fabulous.

Really good stay near historic abbey
easy parking spacious room
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of the town centre. Parking proved easy, a definite bonus. I found the room spacious and well-furnished. The bed offered great comfort.
The room thermostat was located in a different room, a design flaw I observed. This made it very difficult to regulate the temperature accurately. One evening, i felt quite cold. Another night, the room became too hot.

The family suite was generous, offering ample space and comfortable furnishings. The room included fresh milk in the fridge for tea and coffee. Glass bottles of water were also supplied, i noted.

Free parking was available nearby, i greatly appreciated. The location offered convenient access to the abbey. The hotel boasts a garden that has a wonderful atmosphere, providing guests with a peaceful retreat.

The breakfast featured beautifully cooked dishes with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The food was excellent. The menu had plates offering something for everyone. The kitchen serves italian cuisine with tapas.

The staff seemed attentive and friendly, very important to me. They were accommodating and helpful. The service in the restaurant was efficient, i noticed. I liked it.

excellent location many breakfast choices fresh orange juice unreliable room wifi outdated password separate thermostat
the location was excellent for exploring. breakfast offered many choices including a full english, which i enjoyed. fresh orange juice was available.. a very nice touch. the staff were consistently friendly and helpful.
the room wifi was unreliable, made working difficult. i spent 20 minutes trying to connect, finding out the password was outdated. the thermostat was in a different room, so controlling the temperature was not precise.

wonderful sherborne stay
spacious room comfortable bed attentive staff
the room was spacious with a comfortable bed. the bathroom was also large, this was a bonus. the staff were attentive and happy to accommodate any requests. the breakfast included in the room rate was very good value, i thought.

the breakfast included a variety of options. i saw tasty plates, though wow, salt jumped out in every sauce dish we ordered. the staff were lovely! so,chef needs to take notice of reviews.

damp bathroom mould corners
the location was acceptable being close to the abbey
the bathroom was quite disappointing it felt cramped and showed signs of dampness there was also mould in the corners which i found rather unpleasant there wasn't even a proper space to put my washbag which added to my frustration the price didn't match the quality of the bathroom at all

delicious breakfast extended breakfast times room wifi old password
The breakfast was delicious. Extended breakfast times met our needs perfectly.
The room WiFi did not function. I tried connecting with what turned out to be an old password and wasted time. There was no apology offered for this inconvenience.
