warm atmosphereunsteady tablesroad noise
the hotel had a warm atmosphere and the staff was helpful
the room was close to the road and it was quite noisy. the tables in the bar were unsteady i found out as my food and wine tipped over. i will probably not be staying again

a charming surprise

The staff was cute, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. the food was lovely, and the room and bed were ridiculously comfortable. I slept soundly. it exceeded my initial expectations by quite a bit. the breakfast was excellent too.
The old windows in the bedroom had a slight crack, causing easy during the night. I did notice the curtains moving. thankfully, it was quite a mild night in late autumn

the free parking outside was very convenient, and the walking area near the hotel was great, i enjoyed it. several national trust places are also situated nearby, perfect for day trips.

I enjoyed both the evening meal and breakfast. The food was a good standard, and i found it really tasty. the food tasted freshly prepared using local ingredients, it was excellent.

The location felt perfect for exploring nearby attractions. The area is accessible. plus, being near key transport routes made exploring by car straightforward. That was a plus.
