fantastic stay!

superb locationfriendly staffplentiful parking
the location is unbeatable near trails i loved the friendly staff they were helpful and attentive. my room was spacious and very clean including the refurbished bathroom. the garden features lots of seating and plenty of parking.
the food menu felt slightly limited one evening with some popular items sold out i wish i had known in advance.

the room was very small. the bathroom was very cold even with the towel rail on.. it was noisy with people opening and closing their bedroom doors. food options were very limited for dinner as they were sold out, though they failed to inform us on arrival when we booked a table.

the location allowed immediate access to walking trails. the train station was also very close to the inn. i found the breakfast included to be great before my hikes.
the dining area downstairs looked a bit tired. there were a few stains present on the towels. limited food options were available on the dinner menu when i stayed.

the team there were accommodating, and the food was fantastic! room 5 was great, with a massive soft bed and two other beds in the room. the ensuite had a very good shower with both rainfall and wand outlets. the breakfast team were great ambassadors, and the full english breakfast with poached eggs was excellent.
The menu lacked green options. I opted for the beef chili, but the portion was small. i left hungry, a letdown after paying the price.

The team provided an enthusiastic welcome and constant stream of automotive content. The staff was accommodating and the food quality certainly justified its cost. Room 5 featured a massive soft bed and views overlooking the front lawn terrace. Breakfast included a full English with poached eggs and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
I found no remotely green item on the menu and the portion was small.
