the staff were very friendly and cute. the food was amazing!!! they provided ground coffee and a cafetiere in the room. I found this a lovely detail. the location is also great. It is in the heart of the peaks.
i could hear some loud music from the kitchen in my room. it happened for hours. i had to use earplugs to sleep.

the hotel is in a pretty good location! the staff was super friendly, and the food? oh my, i order the special of the day for dinner plus breakfast the next day. i found great attention to detail, like ground coffee in the bedroom. also parking was available!
the music was VERY loud, coming from the kitchen above my room for hours! the music turned down for a few minutes, but then it came on even louder. i could hear the chefs shouting at each other since they clearly couldn't just speak to each other over the music.

the location is central in the peak district. the bar downstairs has a snug feel, just right for recounting adventures. hearty, satisfying meals were available in the restaurant. i especially liked the ground coffee and cafetiere in the room. the bed featured crisp sheets and fluffy towels.
the check-in process was a little unclear, i wasn't sure where to go first.
