some issues noted

freshly cooked breakfastworn mattressunfitted blinds
the breakfast was freshly cooked and generous.
the mattress in my room felt quite worn. also, i found the bedside light flickering and then it stopped working. the blinds did not properly fit the windows either, so there was too much light in the morning

a cute stay in the valley

smiling staffcute atmospherespartan bar
we visited shortly after the new management took over. i noticed the staff were smiling and the log fire created a cute atmosphere. the food was freshly cooked and reminded me of a proper pub meal.
the bar felt a bit spartan on arrival. the previous owner seemingly stripped the place bare and the new owner is still bedding in. i'm sure it will feel cosier with time.
