understaffed barinsufficient security
The bar felt understaffed. it was a bit frustrating. someone who was drinking in the bar actually entered our room. the staff didn't seem too concerned. It frightened my partner.

The real ales on tap were good. I found plenty to choose from at the bar. The staff were friendly and cute. The room was comfortable with a nice view overlooking the beer garden.
The room was cold even with the radiator turned up fully. I needed to open the window a little for some air. The bed covers were quite thin. This was not ideal, especially since it was December

the tiled staircase added an elegant touch to the decor it was very beautiful. i appreciated the cleanliness evident throughout the hotel i could notice it everywhere. the historic pub created a lovely warm atmosphere i really felt it. the location proved convenient i could reach everything fast.
the bar felt understaffed upon arrival it created a short wait for check in.
