a super place for a quick getaway

convenient location excellent pressure super clean room easy parking

the location was really convenient for catching the scillonian ferry the next day i noticed the shower had excellent water pressure i found the room spotlessly clean with great views early breakfast was provided for ferry passengers. i found street parking easy to access.

the stairs were a little narrow and steep but i managed just fine.

the staff was lovely and very accommodating especially when preparing an early breakfast they packed it to go since i needed to catch the early ferry a very thoughtful service i found.

my double room featured good views of the sea the room had comfortable furnishings i saw the cleanliness was great and the layout suited my needs for a short stay very well with lots of light.

i noticed the hotel's location offered easy access to the scilly ferry and nearby amenities parking was conveniently available on the road near the hotel this made getting around quite simple for me during my brief visit.

Great Location and Clean Rooms

convenient location clean room helpful hosts

The location was great. It was only an 8-minute walk from both the train and bus stations. The Jubilee pool was also conveniently across the road. My room was super clean, and I really enjoyed the sea view. Kate and Roy were very kind and helpful hosts.

Parking was not easy. The spaces were often occupied by other vehicles, I found it an inconvenient situation.

The rooms included useful amenities, such as a TV and Wi-Fi. Though the room was not very big. The cleanliness was very good. I liked that the room was tastefully decorated and the view was excellent.

Breakfast was not included in the room price. The hotel no longer offers this. The Cornish breakfast is delicious and satisfying with rich flavours. The breakfast room offered a beautiful sea view, a plus to start the morning.

the stairs were narrow and steep. carrying my luggage up to the room felt quite dangerous, and i worried about slipping, it was not fun.

intermittent shower distancing policy

the location was convenient near the ferry terminal

the shower had intermittent hot and cold water i spoke to a man who took us to our room but the distancing policy made me feel unimportant i found it quite off putting with a collie dog running around in circles and trying to bite my luggage parking was not easy either

The location was excellent. I could easily walk to the main street. Water views were available just across the road. Parking was free (I was lucky to find a spot right out front!). I also appreciated that they provided bicycle parking and charging.

The stairs were very narrow and steep. I found them quite dangerous. The bed was the worst I have slept in. The room was also very small and crowded.
