the room was pretty basic. there were no complimentary toiletries except for some soap in a dispenser (i usually appreciate small shampoos and lotions). the tv freeview wasn't working. i expect more attention to detail for the price paid.

i decided to return after a good first visit. i got a better room with more space. the bed was a great size and water was in the room this time. the staff remained very pleasant.
the shower cubicle was a bit small for me. i had some trouble moving around to wash fully.

the superior king room featured fresh linen and ample tea and coffee supplies. it included a king-sized bed and a clean en-suite bathroom with a powerful shower. there were sufficient towels available.

the cooked breakfast included an excellent quality sausage. i had both pork belly and sea bass and recommend both evening meals. the restaurant area was very pleasant and comfortable for all guests.

the breakfast was acceptable the service was quick.
the shower was a joke i barely fit inside the cubicle it seemed like showering in a phone booth. the towels felt thin and scratchy like sandpaper on my skin. i also noticed stains on the carpet i certainly did not expect that.
