helpful staffcooking smellslack of ventilation
The staff seemed helpful enough they moved luggage without issue.
The room was indeed spacious it was also directly above the kitchen extractor. One could not open a window without the good aroma of cooking smells permeating the space. I also noted the lack of ventilation it became quite stuffy.

a good stay!

immaculate roomenglish breakfastprivate car parkpoor heating
the room was immaculate and i found it beautifully appointed. in fact, the whole hotel presented a great image. the full english breakfast was excellent, i noted, and the coffee was AMAZING!!! there is a spacious private car park, and i found it a bonus.
the heating in my room was poor, i felt. it felt inadequate. also, the lighting in the room was badly designed. there was no desk light on the desk, so i couldn't write or make a drink.

The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Tasty local produce was very well cooked and presented. Shirley, our waitress, was very helpful and could not do enough for us. The residents' area felt good. The rooms were a long way from the busy bar, a good thing. They were comfortable and well decorated.
