the staff was VERY friendly. location, room, and food was superb.
our room had a full bin UPON arrival. the following morning, we had no hot water. despite waiting thirty minutes after being told it would be fifteen, we had to leave without washing, impacting our plans. this was unacceptable.

I was initially impressed upon arrival. the room itself was a good size, though the restaurant specials were mainly unavailable. the food was warm, not hot. after a night's stay, the room wasn't cleaned. Tea and coffee weren't refreshed for the next day.

I arrived to find no hot water available! It took ages before ANYONE even addressed the problem. the solution offered was waiting because the boiler was slow. This didn't work, as i still couldn't shower. the restaurant food was only warm, not hot, VERY disappointing

Charming Stay with Excellent Breakfast

specialty coffeebeautiful roomexcellent staffwarm food
The breakfast was excellent, including options such as specialty coffees from a menu. Rooms are quirky and beautiful with great decor. The hotel location is great. Staff are always happy to help, the building has charm, and everything was clean.
Restaurant specials were often unavailable, and the food served arrived warm instead of hot. Service was inconsistent across different shifts. There was a lack of personalized attention. The room wasn't cleaned, nor was the bed made after the first night. Tea and coffee weren't refreshed for the next day.
