My room was a great size and accommodated my dog perfectly. The bed was super comfortable (i slept like a baby). I found the staff so friendly and helpful, they seemed to anticipate needs. As a solo female traveller, I felt genuinely comfortable and welcome.
The entrance to the accommodation looked a little shabby.

the staff were friendly and checked me in at the bar. i had a meal there the food was quite good and reasonably priced. the room was big also the hotel is dog friendly. breakfast was included in the price it was quite nice too
cleanliness in the room was not great. we placed towels on the floor for exchanging. they never got changed during the whole stay. i had to ask for refreshments to be refilled

The room was a great size, perfect for staying with my dog (he loved it!). i didn't eat in the evening, though the menu looked good. the bed is super comfortable! the staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing felt too much to ask.

the Wheatsheaf welcomed my dog AND me, a great relief after a long journey on the m1. i found the staff ever so polite. i enjoyed the dining options at the restaurant as they offered good choices. our room had plenty of storage, really useful.
the only MINOR issue i noticed was that the entrance to the accommodation was a little worn.

room cleanliness could be improved i had towels placed on the floor for exchanging. throughout my stay they never got changed i was always asking for refreshments to be restocked or refilled. the room needed an update with repainting.

the room was a great size! it was perfect for staying with my dog. the bed is super comfortable, and the staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing feels too much.
The entrance to the accommodation felt shabby and i had to pass an open kitchen door. the noise and smells weren't great so close to where i had to sleep. the room also needed repainting. better quality pillows were needed. The curtains were looking very tired
