simple room good location
good menu relaxed ambience separate room union canal
i found great parking right outside my room. the inn provided a good menu and the service was relaxed. my room was separate from the pub, so i did not hear pub noise. it was next to the grand union canal for walks.
the room was very cold when i got there. no breakfast was available even though photos showed a breakfast menu. the room looked worn.

clean room plentiful parking
the room was very clean and warm for my visit in late autumn. plentiful parking was available onsite at ALL times..
the tv was small, it was the smallest i have seen in years.

fantastic stay NEAR THE CANAL!
clean room comfortable bed coffee supply
i found the room clean and the bed VERY comfortable. i slept amazingly well in it! the big shower was a great feature. there were plenty of tea and coffee supplies. being just SECONDS from the canal was a huge bonus.
the tv reception was quite poor, with the signal dropping frequently. it made watching anything a bit frustrating.
