The food was really good with good prompt service. Nothing was too much trouble. a peaceful location ensured a good night's sleep. michael was very helpful when we arrived. He made sure our rooms were next to each other and helped us settle in.

The heating in the bedroom and bathroom was not on. It was very cold.

Breakfast had fresh ingredients. Helpful staff assisted with taxi and ironing board needs. Ample parking existed near the building. My room included many pleasant, little additions to enjoy.

The room gets very hot. Radiators where left on all day.

The room included a coffee and tea selection. rituals toiletries were available in the bathroom. i found a really sunny beer garden on the hotel. It was perfect for an evening drink.

the staff were friendly. they seemed to be working really hard. the food was great and the pub had a lovely atmosphere (it was decorated for christmas). the location was good for exploring other parts with a car.

the room was hot upon checking in. radiators had been left on full even though it was a hot day. there was no privacy from the beer garden outside unless i closed the windows and the shutters. this blocked out all daylight.

the room was way too hot when i arrived. radiators blasted heat even though it was a warm day. I had to open the windows, but then people in the beer garden could see right in, unless i closed everything and had no light. it was really annoying! and they didn't even ask how my stay was when i left.
