charming stay with really good food
cute owners quirky decor homemade profiteroles
The owners were cute. i appreciated the quirky decor. I spotted new details constantly (a feast for the eyes!). the food was really good, especially the chef's homemade profiteroles.
my single room felt a bit unfinished, as though it was still being painted.

the hotel offered a peaceful setting amidst fine scenery. the surroundings provided a tranquil escape from the bustle of daily life. i noticed ample parking space too.

The breakfast featured fresh, top quality ingredients (i'm a big fan!). i enjoyed a generous portion of perfectly cooked christmas turkey dinner. the monkfish scampi was another highlight. It melted in my mouth.

i stayed in the hotel for two nights. the room was clean and perfect for a short stay. i had to leave early , and they ensured that i left with some food. i would have missed breakfast otherwise.

the location was perfect. i appreciated the comfortable accommodation. the owners seemed genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. i found the unique decor created many talking points and added to the overall charm of the place.
the shower temperature was difficult to adjust consistently.

An Okay Stay, Some Issues Noted
faulty shower carpeted bathroom
The bathroom was carpeted, which I found rather odd. The electric shower kept switching from scalding hot to cold every minute. The temperature dial seemed faulty! I also found there was no door to the bathroom. A blackout curtain served as a door. It was not ideal and kind of strange

The restaurant boasts unique decor. Animal models provide smiles during meals. I also found the food quality commendable. The lamb pie I ordered stood out, prepared with attention.

the staff were attentive. it was acceptable.
the room i was given was not up to standard. the shower attachment was broken, and i found it almost impossible to use. the toilet seat was also loose.
