charming stay!

the b&b had very convenient car parking just outside. the location was perfect for accessing the town centre (it's just a short walk!). i found the breakfast provided in the room quite satisfying, especially the wide variety of biscuits they left for me.
I noticed a slight smell of damp in the room and in the hallway just outside. Perhaps this is a fixable issue.

the room wasn't great however. i found some cobwebs on the window sill and the furniture looked cheap. the carpet also had some stains so i didn't felt good.

stale croissantsandpaper towels
honestly, the towels was like sandpaper. they were definitely past their prime and seemed like they'd been through a war. also, the "breakfast in the room" idea? cute, but the croissant was sadly stale and the juice tasted suspiciously like it came from concentrate. plus, trying to find the fold-up table was like some sort of scavenger hunt.
