The hotel provides ample parking . The staff was attentive and friendly. The location is fantastic, offering lovely walks right from the premises. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable amenities provided .

The portions at dinner were smaller than I expected for the price.

The room featured two separate WCs and a generous layout. It was ideal. The provided bath products were very good. Storage was sufficient for a multi-night stay, and the room was nicely decorated and very clean.

clogged drainindifferent staff

our "superior double room view" lacked superiority, let me tell you. the shower drain was clearly on strike, refusing to let water pass (i suspect it was unionized). the staff, bless their hearts, seemed unfazed by this aquatic rebellion. i reported the issue twice, but alas, the drain remained stubbornly clogged. perhaps they thought i enjoyed wading through a miniature indoor pool after each shower?

the views from the room was excellent. i had a suite river view. the staff are friendly and the breakfast was superb.

i was disappointed by the evening menu. it was not up to hotel standards. the experience felt more like a pub meal.
