reasonable stay at the bayside

double bed amazing location cottage room dangerous step
the family room was fine for me. i like the big double bed and two made up singles for kids. the hotel is very close to the beach so the location was amazing.
i thought i had booked a double room in the hotel, but i ended up in a cottage room near the road and sea. my partner was not happy with this arrangement. also, i found a dangerous step down from the bar to the conservatory after i went headlong onto the floor.

poor food bland crumble
The bar service left much to be desired it seemed understaffed at times. also, the food quality was inconsistent. i ordered an apple crumble that tasted bland and looked like it came straight from a packet. It was really not what i expected. the prawn cocktail lacked avocado, a key ingredient.

spacious car park comfortable bed
i found a spacious car park, which residents and restaurant patrons can use. the reception gave me a warm welcome and a quick check-in. my first-floor room had a view of the bay, a comfortable 6ft bed, and two sofa beds.
i had not booked breakfast with the room, which i did not realize initially. when i asked to add breakfast for myself and my partner, i was charged an additional 30 pounds.

gluten-free options delicious food entertaining staff warm room booked tables bar service
the breakfast had gluten-free options, including sausages. the food prepared by the cooks was delicious. the person managing breakfast.
The room was slightly warm, even with a balcony. getting a drink at the bar was odd. The inn was open only to residents, yet we were turned away, tables were booked. i expected to be able to sit down for a drink when i wanted for £300 a night.
