the hotel grounds were fairly well-kept, i suppose.
the room we got was not the room we booked. it was smaller, and the promised amenities were missing. I had to call multiple times to get basic things like towels. the food was mediocre at best, definitely not what i expected from a supposed 5-star hotel.

The lobby bar offered quick service and a relaxed atmosphere. there was always a wide selection of international spirits available. the patisserie had fresh pastries daily. I especially liked the baklava.

We stayed as a family of five, and it was so relaxing. the kids club was included, offering lots of fun for my boys. timings suited parents well, great for some personal time. i found the private vip transfer from the airport very convenient, booked through a site on google for £35. The kids enjoyed it.
The main buffet restaurant was quite busy. Sometimes, locating a table for six was a massive chore every night.

our family suite included two rooms, each with its own mini bar and bathrooms. the rooms were modern and very clean, which i appreciated, and offered a balcony. comfy beds, a safe, wifi. tea and coffee facilities added to the comfort.

The staff worked tirelessly and always with a smile, even when it was busy. guest relations were excellent. They were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. i thank the hotel manager who ensured the newcastle match was shown in the sports bar.

there were plenty of pools, though some sun loungers were reserved early. the hotel features a short boat ride to a private beach, this provided unlimited food and drink. a good selection of drinks were available at the bars with no long waits.

The hotel offered a bus service that stops right outside. It costs 71p and is marked 'd' for the return trip. a short bus ride takes you to lara for shopping. I found this very useful. the hotel taxi service seemed over priced. I suggest using ubers or finding a driver.
