enchanting castle stay!
luxurious suitecopper bathfriendly staffwarm atmosphere
the oak suite was luxurious. a copper bath stood out in the gargantuan room, definitely a unique experience. the staff members were friendly, thoughtful, and very helpful. the bed provided great comfort, and despite the room's size, the furnishings created a cozy, warm atmosphere.
During my visit, i noticed some areas could benefit from a bit of tlc. A fresh coat of paint would enhance the character.

Nice Stay in a REAL Castle

I enjoyed a nice stay. My room was spacious. The bar service was EXCELLENT. I especially enjoyed the whisky recommendations. The beds were very comfortable. The on-site pub provided more casual dining options.
The shower in my bathroom had less than ideal water pressure. I hope they can improve this.

underwhelming castle experience
temperamental flushunclean bathroom floor
the toilet flush was temperamental. i had to flush multiple times. the bathroom floor also wasn't cleaned properly . i found some hairs and dust. these details really detract from the experience (it's not like i'm expecting perfection, just basic cleanliness).
